The Chevra is a group for Jewish professionals in their 20's & 30's that provides a unique blend of social, cultural, educational, spiritual, and volunteer experiences.

The Chevra's vision is as follows:

For all young professionals (singles and couples):

• To help young professionals access a deeper connection to their own Jewish identities through relevant programming that speaks to their unique life experiences.
• To foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere that transcends affiliations and differences.
• To offer social experiences that are uplifting instead of draining, and to offer educational experiences that are engaging instead of alienating.

For singles:

• To offer singles a sensible network of programming and personal matchmaking (through matchmaker Jessica Erlbaum) that will assist them in finding their soul mates.

The word "Chevra" is related to the word "chaver" (friend), and it is basically a warm word that conjures up a group of friends connected through a close, common bond.
